Props to anyone who can remember what Arc the Lad character says the above...

Work no longer has me running myself silly (I have paid my dues to enter the wonderful guild of retail management...what a spiffy guild we are!). But might again soon, unfortunately. I've undergone minor surgery in the past few days, but happily found myself drawn back to the flock here.

So, a couple of updates...

As some of you are aware, I was contacted a couple of months ago by an wonderfully talented artist who'd like to break into the comics industry. Since, I -too- think it would be a wonderful romp to break into the industry someday, I've given a shot at developing his world, "Moresca" into a plot. Andre -said uber-talented artsist - has some wonderful characters and plot ideas. So, my delightful task was to put these puzzle pieces together in a way that works. Since this script takes place in a fantasy world wholly different from our own, I thought it best to introduce characters slowly and develop them over time. Frankly, most fantasy I write is grounded in real world politics, so this has kind of been a fun opportunity for me. My hope is that the introduction of the characters and their world here is entertaining as well as understandable. I really wish Andre had some scans of his work that I could show you folks. I have to tell you, the guy is frickin' amazing!

Thoughts, questions, comments, random "FUCK YOU"s? I'd love 'em (well, not so much the "FUCK YOU"s...)

X-MEN RED #2 will be finished any time now. Truth be told, I think I've put this off largely because I hate being in front of the flipping computer so much. Typing seems to make my eyes tired. Your guess is as good as mine. Hopefully, I can stand the eye strain eventually and pick up where I've left off. Anywhoo, enjoy Moresca.
